hi, i want to ask how i determine that i should use couple solver or segregate solver for simulation of cooling of heated cylinder dipped in oil. can is it possible that first i start thermal analysis and then transient nabeel

you would want to use a coupled solver if you want to consider the effects of varying material properties with temperature.

yes you can forst do a steady state calculation and then go to a transient analysis

hi, thank you for answer it is free convection problem and should i use pressure inlet and outlet at outer walls of cylinder in which oil is present. nabeel
