I need to save the concentration profile on a line at every time step. I have defined a line , was wondering how to get the concentration profile along the line at each time step . Does any one know how to do this ? XY plot doesnt give any option of saving every time step .

Hi,
I don't know exactly what you want to plot but I think it may help you. If you want to report the concentration profile every time step with "XY plot", you have to make a record using "animate". You will get a movie, each frame representing the profile at a time step. But if you want to plot concentration data (maximum, minimum, average ... along the line) with the time step on the X axis you have to monitor the data using "monitors" and "surface" in your case. Thanks Jean for your reply ! I used the Execute command to write out the concentration profiles at each time step. Its working fine -Ajay
