Default SCHEME command to write XY plot to file?

Hello,

I have a host of models now (some 35 and growing), they share the same geometry and have some minor changes. I would like to compare z-velocity components from all the files. I found that I can use scheme to auto construct several Racks at given points and use them to plot xy-plots.

Is there a way to auto save these plots to a file (the data?) within scheme? that would considerably speed up things for me.

Thanks Angelo

I think you could use Macros

Solve ->execute command->tick command.

below you would fine define macro button once you press this it starts to record what you do. go to the xy plot and write out a file define the name with %t at the end and then fluent would replace this with the current time step ex:- vel_pro%t.txt end the macro. return back to the execute command window and put the name of the macro next to the commad which you have ticked. -Ajay
