Under relaxed values
Hello,
Aside from simulation-time can "extreme" under-relaxation have an impact on the accuracy of the solution? Regards |
Re: Under relaxed values
Yes, an extreme under-relaxation has an effect on the solution. If you under-relax too much, you risk to have false convergence, which brings to "false" solutions.

Re: Under relaxed values
Ok thx.
If you have the time, could you plz recommend any paper och text book that covers false convergence? Regards |
Re: Under relaxed values
Sorry, I don't know a paper which talk about the problem of "false convergence". It has been presented to me during a course I attended to.
However, a book which covers under-relaxation techniques should be of help. Hi :) ap |
