[OT] Notebook
I need a notebook to replace my desktop because I have to move a bit in this period.
I'm a bit confused. I mainly use CAD and CFD software, so what's better between the Intel Centrino 2.0 GHz and the Intel Pentium 4 3.2 GHz, both for performace and portability? Hi :) ap |
Re: [OT] Notebook
Hi!
I changed to P4 3.06 GHz about a year ago. My main focus was on speed and not portabillity and I think I made the right desition. There are actually very few occasions when you need bateries to last 5 or more hours... My main concern was the overheating of the processor but until now I've had no problems even if I run simulations for more hours. Be shure to buy display with better resolution (at least for CAD - gambit works relativelly ok with 1024*724) |
