Hi Guys
I am currently using Fluent to compute an aircraft flow field. May i ask how do you use fluent to get estimates for the dynamic stability derivatives for an aircraft? Regards JOn |

You are going into new grounds since Fluent is not reknwned for its aerodynamic accuracy. You are more likely to get better results from other CFD packages, i.e CFX.

I am trying to model a Mach 2 flow across a 6% open area perforated plate in 2-D FLUENT but am having trouble with the permeability, porous medium thickness and the pressure jump co-efficient, any ideas on how to approach this or what values i should be using would be greatly appreciated
