Pouring water in a tank

I am trying to model the pouring of water in a tank, basically it is gravity involving flow. I am having a simple Cylinder, which is divided into 2 halves. The inlet is declared as pr outlet and top of the cylinder is patched with water and bottom domain is air. The common face is declared as interior. But the flow is not coming. I an using eulerian model.

You should use the Vof model.

Hi

can u explain me your problem more clearly.. I am not able to understand it fully..It sounds like it is a free surface flow, so VOF is suggested. Go thro' FLUENT manuals as well (Multiphase Models)
