Default Divergence in amg solver...

hi,

I am trying to model a free surface using the VOF implicit solver and can not get it to converge at all. After the first iteration, the x-momentum in the amg solver diverges. Modifying the under-relaxation factors, changing the interpolation schemes and the mesh density did not had any effects. I spend a long time in the archives of the forum trying to find any infos about this problem but did not get anything... Anyone has an idea how to make the VOF work? This would help greately!

Thanks in advance,

Ben

Hi,

First of all use structured meshing. Then take care you have patched the area properly, it will help in convergence. Try to use Implicit case of VOF model. Set rest of the values to default.
