Turbulence model
Which turbulence model is best for turbomachinery application if one just needs to have Qualitative analysis
can any body send me papers on review of turbuelnce models and turbulence models for turbomachinery application This should be kept in mind that this is preliminary analysis of turbomachinery and it is still to be validated by eperiments |
Re: Turbulence model
I am using Fluent in Turbomachinery applications. I prefer to use RNG-ke turbulence model, it gives pretty good results for preliminary analysis. But it really depends on what kind of analysis, you want to perform. For example, in heat transfer coefficient calculations on blade surfaces, ke turbulence models do not give physical results. It is better to use kw models. Hope this gives an idea.

Re: Turbulence model
But for my calculation in turbomachiery all three models (SA, Standard K E, and Reliazable have given same results quantitively and qualitively)
Then wat should i do i am using standard wall fuctions in fluent |
