patch /initialize value setting

Hi,
I am working with mixture pattern of two gasses (80 %Ar and 20 % N2) in side a vacuum chamber. *Is any way to set both N2 and Ar fraction zero before starting solution? When I want to patch /initialize species transport model, i saw only one element in the list. So, if i set N2=1 or 0.5 etc then Ar value set automatically 0, or 0.5 etc respectively. And after a lengthy iteration time, i got almost same value (as set at initial value) all over the domains regardless what the value of velocity i set at inlet boundary. As N2 is only 20 %, it mass fraction should be very low all over the domain... May be Ar penetration rate inside N2 is very slow (I am not sure).I do not know how many days i need to run solution for getting equilibrium result over whole domain!!!!!! Waiting for your kind reply Regards, sam |
