Shock tube problem using Fluent 5/6

I have to give the pressure boundary conditions for a 2D shock tube problem using fluent. It may require use of the user defined functions I guess. Also the pressure BC should be given as a Pressure-Jump at a particular point. Can anybody tell me how should I give the boundary conditions.

-thanks, ravi.

hay

solving 2-d shock tube problem in fluent u have to first specify two zones in gambit before u export the mesh and then u should patch the solution after initializing the solution.

u dont need the pressure jump condition.

bye

Alternatively if you are only interested in either the driver or the driven section of the tube, then a simple pressure inlet with a single domain will also work.
