Default compression of a cylinder

i have to simulate the compression of a 4 stroke engine (closed valves).please send me any tutorials because in the internet they are blocked.my mesh is simple ,just a cylinder and a moving piston but i cant manage to remesh the cylinder along the piston movement.do i have to use a user defined function for the cylinder remeshing and if so how?
