Dear Sir, I am a user of FLUENT and I have the following problem:

When I use the option: define:model:solver:axisymmetric swirl FLUENT sends me the following message:` not-positive exist volumes ', why and how to correct this error?

thanks

Re: help

Hi You have to rebulid your mesh in Gambit (may be you will have to change the type of mesh element). Before You will create the mesh file for FLUENT, check the mesh in Gambit. The mesh has to be free of negative volumes.

Re: help

You can translate the grid in Fluent before you define it as Axisymmetric as well...

Go to: Grid-> Translate

Like nabeel said, make sure you're grid gets moved to the positive side of the global ucs. This might be quicker then going back into Gambit and moving and re-exporting your mesh.

Goodluck, Jason
