heat generation rate

Default heat generation rate

I have to calculate the heat because of friction and then enter the heat as Heat Flux or Heat Generation Rate, probably at both walls. Two rotating discs that are in contact, and there is heat flux because of friction. Could somebody help me because I don't know how programming this? Thank you.

I don' t know but maybe they're very similar. Iam working with a double mechanical seal and I have to try to cool the fluid. And you?

Well I am working on something different. Two rotating disks that are in contact. Like two gears in a gearbox. And i have to find out the best way of lubrication and cooling. Specially the oil bath lubrication. I will send you an email about what you can do with your case.
