Hi all,

I am trying to model the static diffusion of a methyl orange and water mixture in ansys fluent. For context;

I am using a species transport model with no reaction as I purely want to see how the mixture diffuses with respect to time due to density/concentration differences in a geometry. I was going to patch a fraction of the methyl orange to an abitary entrance. There is to be no agitation - no inlet velocities etc.

I was basically wondering if it is possible to create this as a user defined mixture? I am somewhat experienced with using fluent for fluid dynamics but I am no chemist. I am assuming a totally miscible mixture for 5g/L of Methyl Orange at say 20 degrees celcius in water.

If anyone would be able to point me in the right direction how to create this mixture or if its possible for what I am suggesting, I would be very grateful.

Thanks.
