User Defined Non Reflecting Boundary Condition

HI folks

I simulate a case with a shockwave in water. With 6.2.5 segregated solver (the new solution from fluent) or a udf-based 6.1.22 coupled imp solution. In both the problem is 2d, dp, compressible, unsteady. All shockwaves reflecting at the pressure-outlet boundary. Now I need to programm a NRBC (nonreflecting-BC) with UDF. My idea is that I read the Face-Pressure out in every BC-Face, invert it and write back to clean the reflection. I just need to see what happen in the closed case and each wave which leaves the boundary should not get reflected.

Thx for ur ideas Christian Tenger, Fachhochschule Biel Schweiz

A simple question...how can you set the value of the pressure you want? i'm really interested the way you do it. thanks Luca

Dear Tengc,
Did you able to solve it? If you got the udf, can you please share it?
