XY plots

hi,

i have a solid 3-D spherical model. how do i plot the temperature distribution along a radius. how i get temperature transients on various points along a radius. i tried monitors- surface and volume but i have no options for a point or a line.

thank you

Re: XY plots

You can creat a line along the radius of your sphere and can plot XY plot with the values at the different points of the created line. Check adaption option in your menubar of Fluent interface. I think there is an option to creat the line or iso-surface/ plane or points.

hi,

there is option of creating line along radius.go to surface and there is option called line/rake and then draw grid and precisely point mouse at two desired along axis.then go to plot XY ,plot variable vs radius. bye
