I am doing an investigation on the noise characteristics of 0.6m turbine in duct under bi-directional flow rate . the period of the flow is 10sec( inlet and outlet).the turbine rotational speed is 1700 rpm.the turbine duct is very long to put it in a room,so could I measure the sound that radiating from the turbine casing by putting that area in a small room ?? I am wondering which standard can I use to measure the noise of the turbine for the whole period, and also which noise level measurements could I use (I mean ,LAeq or LA or LAmax) for whole the period to specify the the noise of this turbine because it is changeable If any one have article regarding to this case please send it to me pressure thanks
