Hello everybody,
Does anyone know how can i add an axis (x-axis for example) to a contour plot (of temperature distribution, let's say)? I would like the x-axis to appear beneath the temperature contour plot. Thank you in advance, Lior. |

If you know the start and end points of the axis, you can define a line as the axis. select surface/lineRake, input the start and end points. select create.

Thanks, but i am not sure that this is exatcly what i want to do... By adding a surface in line/rake function, all i get is a line... How can i add a line with a "ruler" beneath? I mean, with the numbers, for example from 0 to 100 millimeters??
Thanks again. |

Hi Lior
You can add an axis to your contour plot as follows DISPLAY-->SCENE-->DRAW FRAME then select the lines on the box in the Bounding Frame window where you want the axes displayed (Section 31.7.10 of the Online User Manual) Good Luck Mark |
