How to define mass flow rate using UDF?

Hi,

I have triied to define mass flow rate using UDF for unsteady calculation but unsuccessfully. The mass flow rate is a linear function of the time t (e.g. : q=a*t+b). Could someone tell me how to do this?

I am afraid that we will probably need more information. Why is it unsuccessful? What error message, if any, are you getting. Also, can we see your UDF source code?

Hi Andrew,

Thanks a lot for your answer. After many tries, we have found the solution by defining mass flux using UDF and not mass flow rate.
