2 Sided wall on 3D geometry
 

dear Fluent User Friends , I have problem with 2sided wal on 3D geometry -I read in Fluent manuel that 2sided wall is a wall which separate 2 fluids or fluid and solid zone ... -In 2Dnwhen I read msh file ,Fluent automaticly add a SHADOW wall to the Boudary condition zones But I can not get the shadow wall on 3D .... My geometry is a CUBE wwhich is devided into 2 parts by a wall ....

please can some body help me on this problem ....

You will get shadow wall in 3D also. Suppose if you substract one volume from another then you will not get shadow wall but if you split small volume from the bigger one you will get shadow wall.

Your geometry is a cube having two volume seperated by one wall. I would suggest that first make the bigger volume (union of the two) then make a face (in which you want to get shadow wall) finally split this volume by this face. Define middle face as a wall. You will definetly get shadow wall. Hope it will help
