ICEPAK Conitnuity runout under Solution Monitor
I'm having problems in convergence with ICEPAK 4.1. The solver goes good until few iterations, then suddenly the continuity values goes up and up until numerical error 1e+12 from 1e-2. Energy and speeds look good.
Thanks in advance for your help

There are several reasons for Divergence of a solution. One of the most common reason is the quality of the mesh.
Follow the instructions, this might help :
1. Let the solution diverge for 10-20 iterations.
2. Then terminate the solution and check the point of divergence ( the places from where the divergence has started) using the post processing object, ISO SURFACE.
3. Try checking the quality of mesh at those places and refine it.
In most of the cases, the reason for divergence may either be skewness or cell jump ( a very large dimension element placed adjacent to a small element) at the non confirmal surface.
In very rare cases , it can also be because of the case setup specified.
Hope this helps you.
