basic multicomponent flow

Hello everybody,

I am used to FLUENT for calculating a single gas flow but am totally neophyte regarding multicompent flow.

I wish to calculate a quite simple flow with one water-vapour entry and another air entry and one exit.

What should I enter in Define>Models>Species>Mixture Template? What should I enter in Materials? How can I specify that one Mass Flow Inlet is H20, O2 and N2? (Fluent only offers me H20 and O2) As there are no reaction but only Specific Heat change depending on the water portion, what should I enter in Define>Models>Species?

Thank you in advance.

E.M.

Hi in inlet conditions you need not to specify N.Give mass fractions of watervapour and oxygen as required. The remaining mass fraction fluent assigns to N.This is because in the materials panel the last species in the mixture is N.
