Export Gambit to CFD-ACE+

Could I export the structural grid file built in gambit to CFD-ACE+ ? If it could be done, what kind of solvers should I chose from the main menu ?

You could, but it has to be a slightly bizarre way of doing it. Gambit would not be my choice for a structured mesh, CFDRC's own CFD-Geom is a way better tool for the job! Get Gambit to export a Plot3d format file (can it?, maybe cgns would be a better call) and import that into Geom to pre-process it for Ace, then export as a DTF for Ace. But I think this is the wrong way around to do it.

Thank you, Charles. I decide to use icemcfd 5.1 to build and export grid file to ace+. But do you know whether ACE+ can accept hybrid mesh built in icemcfd 5.1 ot not ? Because I try meny time and never success .

In theory it should, but I've never done it myself.

ACE+ meshers have a very good compatibility..
