Default mean boundary values for unsteady statistics

Hi,

I'm experiencing a strange things with a transiant LES simulation over a smooth stationnary wall.

When I plot the distribution of the instantaneous stream velocity (say u) the non-slip condition is satisfied on the wall of the computational domain (u=0 at the wall).

But when I plot in the unsteady statistics menu the mean x velocity (<u>) on the nodes values the non slip condition is not satisfied (<u> /= 0) !

Is it a bug or ? And what about the friction velocity calculated by Fluent in this cas, because the normal gradient to the wall for y=0 is not correct here ?

I'm using the RNG Smagorinsky formulation for the LES with y+ ranging from 0.01 to 2.5.

Any help will be appreciate. Thank's a lot.

Francois
