X-Y Plot along an edge

Hi guys,

How do I do an X-Y plot of data along a given edge of a 3D model (in my case a delta wing).

When I create a plane, I get a whole set of edges, and I cannot use the line command because my model has all sorts of funky angles.

Please advise, there must be a way to do something this simple!

I'm having the same issue right now... one way that works well is using iso-surfaces. You can create a surface of constant grid functions (say constant x-coordinate, or angular coordinates, etc..) and select the surface you want it to interesct with under "from surface". For example, if you wanted a curve on your wing at x=1m, you would create an iso-surface of constant x-coordinate, and input 1m as the iso-value... then select your wing under "from surface".

The problem I'm currently having is that my surface can't be defined under the limited options under iso-surface... if you learn of any other way of doing this, I would apppreciate any information.

Thanks, and goodluck, Jason
