Temperature Gradients, Cp and Themal Conductivity

Part of my project is similar to Tutorial 2 in Fluent, Transonic Flow around an Airfoil (Missile for my project) but with some changes.

Where can i find information on how a change in temperature gradient will affect Cp and Themal Conductivity?

Many Thanks

Re: Temperature Gradients, Cp and Themal Conductiv

Chris,

Actually Cp and Thermal Conductivity are a function of temperature not temperature gradients.

Take a look at any reasonable Fluid Mechanics or Thermodynamics book and you should find these thermophsical properties quoted with respect to temperature.

Good luck!

Ok Thanks, I have now taken out a fluid mechanics books from the university library as well as intro to arodynamics by John D Anderson. Many Thanks
