Time step in time explicit solver
I know that Fluent chooses the time step (in an unsteady explicit model) as: CFL Dx /(u+a). But what is exactly Dx? The help says it is the local grid size. What does it mean? Consider that I have a quadrilateral 2D mesh, is it the diagonal? the biggest dimension? To anyone that can help me...Thank you

The dx is the minimum of cell size
