heloo everybody, please I am looking for: 1- the meaninig of "backflow parameters in fluent"?? why entering (k,e,...) for the backflow? what does it mean physically and/or numerically?? 2- is it possible to include intermediate species (co,h2,oh,...) in "eddy dissipation model", i think fluent use ch4 + 2o2 +(n2)= co2 +2h2o +(n2) with only five(5) species??? thanks

you can import a CHEMKIN detailed mechanism into FLUENT.

hello handou of course I have the detailed mechanism from chemkin or CEA, but how to include species and their compositions in the "eddy dissipation model" (often the number of species in defined (5) and we cannot make changes!!!!).

well. you can't use the detailed mechanism in the eddy dissipation model. The detailed mechanism can be used only in laminar finier-rate model or EDC model. you should read users guide chapter13 first.
