Hello fluent users,
im using the discrete ordinate modell with the "non gray radiation" options to simualte the behavior of solar radiation passing through a float glass. I defined five wavelength bands and different absorption coefficient which depends on the wavelength. But I didnīt find a possibility to set the emissivity for the bands on a semi-transparent (double sided) wall. I could set the diffuse fraction, and thats all. For opaque walls there is a possibility to set the emissivity for each band. If there should be no possibility to change/set the emissivity for a (double sided) semi-transparent wall, what emissivity does Fluent use instead? Thanks for your help Thomas |

I beleive the reflectance for a double sided wall is calculated based on the refractive indices of the adjacent continuums.
