Hi All! I am simulating a flow of liquid on a plate inside a vessel. Simulation area has 1 vel inlet and 3 press outs. Operating pressure 101325, gravity enabled, flow is laminar, gauge press at pres outs is 0, velosity at inlet is 1 m/s. The problem is that there appears backflow from the bottom, however there shouldn't be any. The backflow has relatively high speed and screws up the liquid flow (generates waves on the surface, breaks down into droplet etc). What could be the problem?

Thanks in advance!

Ok! I found the answer, i had to enable operating density for lighter phase and use implicit body force. Now it works fine

I would not be so sure. I would advise you to check whether the results make physical sense.

So far it seems that it has physical sense, at least results look as anticipated. Nevertheless if anybody has any ideas, would be appreciated!
