actually i asked that because in my code i use cell centered approach, and i was wondering if vertex based implimentation is something that i am missing and if there is something useful i might consider using it in my code, i guess on highly skewed meshes to keep solution stable i can use node based smoothing of variables (that is based on nodes i can average value of variable at cell center and there is one value of variable which is calculated by solving linear system, so i can introduce some error function to improve the solution).

Hello, I am relatively new to this ANSYS Fluent or ANSYS CFX. Since, I am doing my thesis on Windstorm damage Assessment on Traditional Roof ( i.e maximum 3 storeyed) with Corrugated Galvanized Iron(CGI) sheet) over the timber rafters. I want to do numerical simulation for Gable and Hip roof using ANSYS software. Please suggest me, ANSYS Fluent or ANSYS CFX will be good for my problem. Thanks!
