Hi everybody! I have a problem with UDF execute-on-demand calling. I want to run a execute-on-demand from a journal file. I try to set all from the TUI but here's the problem: the name of my UDF (for example nameUDF) has been changed to nameUDF::name_OF_MY_COMPILED_LIBRARY. So if I type: define user-defines execute-on-demand "nameUDF" my udf seems not to be present.Has anybody a solution? Luca

here is what you could do: First load your define on demand via the fluent GUI. Then when it is done type in the TUI define>execute on demand .... there fluent is gonna give you the following message Execute on demand function name ["bal bla bla"]: ... The "bla bla bla " is the name you have to put in your journal file. Also make sure you libudf in the same folder as you fluent file. Ciao !

Ciao Thomas, yes Ok...but the question is: do you confirm me that the name of my UDF is changed? That means tha my journal file is not universal...I mean everytime I create a compiled library with a differetn name I have to modify my journal file???Luca

Well when you get:

Execute on demand function name ["bal bla bla"]

What is the name between [" ... "] ?
