how to use -ssh w/ Fluent on Linux cluster

Hi,

I am running Fluent 6.2.16 on a Linux cluster, which has 'rsh' disabled. When I select 'ssh MPICH' as the communicator in the 'Select solver' section, it tells me to use '-ssh' option at the command line. I tried that, but still can;t get away from the failure of 'rsh'.

So, how can I use parallel Fluent here without enabling the 'rsh' command??

Can somebody give me some advice on that? Many thx.

Why is rsh disabled in the first place? Also you should be able to rsh back and forth the nodes without a password. Let me know if you need help with this.

pUl, thx.

rsh is disabled for security reasons.

I tried to use fluent -nmpissh, but it says the option is deprecated.
