hi i am a new user, in transient case for Re100 after getting converged solution i.e, after perfect sin wave for liftcoefficient and corect drag value, it is showing some divergence occured AMG SOLVER in pressure correction, why it is happen, how can i overcome this one. i am using seggreted explicit laminor 2D SOLVER thank you Ayyappan.T IIT MADRAS

Hi,

U can try following things in order (1) decrease relevant URFs. (2) use PISO/simplec velocity pressure coupling (3) use second order upwind scheme for pressure (4) refine ur geometry ---

a) making it fine

b) check for skewness in ur geometry, on a conservative side no cells should have skewness>0.9

bye ashish
