DeActivating the cell

Hai Fluent users

Is it possible to Deactivate the cell.

i am doing 2-d transient heat transfer problem. i am considering flux boundary condition and once the cell temperature reaches 1000, that cell is to be deactivated for next time step. During nent time step the cells with temperature greaer than 1000 should not come into the computational domine. The B.C should not be applied on that cell.

HOW TO MARK THAT CELL so that that cell can be skipped in next itration.

Is this possible , please give sugessions

Thanks

Re: DeActivating the cell

If you are talking about the cells adjacent to the boundary it is possible to verify in the DEFINE_PROFILE if the temperature of the cell and if is greater than 1000 tu prescribe zero flux.

See macros: F_C1(f,tf) for adjacent cell index.
