No stall !
Hi,
I am simulating an incompressible flow over a 2D flat plate for Re=80,000. I use the k-epsilon viscous model with the angle of attack ranging from 0 to 32 degrees. The problem is that Fluent doesn't predict any stall when the angle of attack increases (there is a local one around alpha=10 but then cl keeps on increasing). So I tried other viscous models, spallart Allmaras, k-epsilon rng, k-w, and k-epsilon low-Re but I still get the same result. So I wonder if it is I who badly set up Fluent or the mesh (but I also tried different sizes and refinements of mesh and it doesn't do anything) or if it is only Fluent that cannot predict the stall. Thank you for your help ! Vincent. |
