Convergence problem

Can anyone please tell me the techniques of getting a converged solution for unsteady, compressible turbulent flow with species transport.

Sincerely,

Saad

You can use low under relaxation factors for the parameters that more divergence is observed. On option is to use low relaxation factor for first time steps/interations and then use high relaxation factor. Using low relaxation factor will slow your solution.

Re: Convergence problem

In the solution control panel , go to surface -- > residual . there u could find convergence resolution criteria of 0.001 will be ther u just change it to o.1 and run. Also u could reduce the moment value from default of 0.7 to o.2 as such in the solve, control options. thus u could bring the convergence
