Good day to all. I am modeliing a flotation column using FLUENT in which three phase solids, liquid and gas interacts with each other. i am having problems with the specifying the inlet and out let conditions.

So if anybody wishes to help me, please contact me or leave his own contact.

Regards

This is not some consultancy-type forum. If you would explain your problem someone might be able to help.

thanks for your response. In my problem a slurry(water+ dispersed solids) is entering from the inlet at the top of column. the air is entering from the bottom of column. the air and solid particles will collide. i am interested in collision efficeicy of these air buubles and solid particles. there are oulet for concenetrate at top and tails at bottom. i have problem in specifying the inlet condition of sluury as it is mixture of water and solids. i am using eulerian multiphase model.

hi Nadeem
i am doing a simulation on CFU(compact flotation unit) the physic processing is similar to yours
i use velocity inlet boundary conditions in inlet and gas and solid outlet, and pressure outlet boundary for water outlet. i don't know this boundary is viable or not. could you give me some suggestion? thanks!
