About mixture model
I want to simulate the gas-solid flow in a cyclone seaprator by means of the mixture model in Fluent. In my work, the inlet particle size accords with R-R distribution. At the other hand, in mixture model, we only can give one particle size. Therefore, I want to consider the different particle size by adding the number of the phase,i.e. phase 1 is 1 micron, and phase 2 is 5 micron, and so on. I don't know if this method can satisfy my need. Hope someone who has the experiences in this can help me. Thanks in advance.

Re: About mixture model
Just a thought! why not use Eulerian multiphase model? and use UDF for different particle size distribtuion?

Re: About mixture model
Thanks for Aly's response. In my mind Eulerian multiphase model, we could not use for different particle size distribution which is the same as the mixture model.
