LINEAR method of discretization of PRESSURE parame

HI Can someone tell me more about "LINEAR method of discretization of PRESSURE parameter". I have very nice converged results with this method but I have very low =0.01 factors for CO2,CO. I simulate CO2-><-CO and flow with cooling duct. I havn't used this method before so could you please write if this results are right?

Re: LINEAR method of discretization of PRESSURE pa

Cann't tell about your results. Linear interpolation is simply average of adjacent cell values for pressure to obtain the face pressure. So, it really depends on the kind of flow you have. That may not be suitable if your field has jumps in pressure gradient values. For smooth pressure distribution field, it should be ok i think. Second order would give more accurate results in that case ,however, produce convergence difficulties in some cases. Regards -US
