i tried to run fluent on remote machine(Win2000, 1.5GB RAM), but fluent returns the following message.

Error: out of stack Error Object: () Error encountered in critical code section Hit return to exit.

Have you any ideas how to fix this problem? i will be grateful for any remarks. thank you.

Fluent does not allow to open it's window through remote desktop. But once the window is open then you can do anything (from defining boundary conditions to end of the solution) remotely. you can plot the results also. hope it helps -Prakash

Thank you for your response, Prakash.

When I tried to start Fluent6.2.16 from new XP machine, it could be done.

But on my old machine denied it...machine dependent?

anyway, I'll try another way. thank you!!
