Hi All

I modelling flow over a cylinder in Fluent 6 3D. I have received Von Karman vortex street.

Can I estimate shedding frequency? Which signal I must plot to define the amplitude, and the frequency?

Regards

Ruslan

hi write the coefficient of lift as dat file and do fft with your time step size. it will give amplitude and frequency, the use strouhal number relation for shedding frequency bye ayyappan.t
