Species Transport with multiphase flow

Hello all

I am working on Liquid phase mixing in solid-liquid stirred reactor. I am trying to solve the tracer mass balance in conjuction with the E-E multiphase model.

But i am not able to solve the species transport while the multiphase model is on. First I have to off-the multiphae model option (i.e i have freez the flow ) and then i have to solve the species transport.

Can anybody help me to know how to solve the species transport with multiphase flows.

You can use FLUENT6.2.

I am using Fluent 6.2 only. but still its not working.

I'm working on a similar problem with VOF

So you've defined a third "mixture" phase in the Multiphase panel, adjusted phases and BC appropriately ... otherwise I'm not sure. It is working for me with 6.2 and VOF

User Guide "24.7.1 Limitations" does not suggest there should be any issue

???
