OK, some questions first:

1. Which OS are you using? 2. What is the error message?

Thank you. I use RedHatlinux OS on both my PC and the remote machine. I telnet the remote machine, so I couldn't open the graphic display of fluent code.

Error: can't open display. fluent: error: couldn't initialize interface.

So I want to run fluent with only commandlines.

If you wish to run only with the command line, then start fluent using the switch '-g'. For example:

fluent -g

For me I use the command export DISPLAY="computerID":0.0

Put the computer name at which you are sitting at where "computerID" is. First I ssh into the machine and then type the above line and then the command to point to the machine where the license is and then a line pointing to where Fluent is to be loaded from. Hope this helps.
