coupled or seggregated?

Guys,

I am modeling transonic rotating turbomachinery and I am using seggregated implicit solver, however the pressure ratio I am getting is too low.

My question is whether it makes a significant difference to use coupled solver vs. seggregated for transsonic cases where shock waves are involved?

Thanks in advance.

Re: coupled or seggregated?

As far as I know, coupled solver was specially developed for high Mach flows and therefore your simulation may benefit from using it.
