user9 is on a distinguished road
I am using water injection (at 39degree celsuis) of cone type to cool the air which is around at 150 degree Celsius.

When I see mass weighted average of temperature at outlet , it shows air is cooled. Also relative humidity at outlet give 44 % .

But when I see dpm summary it shows 3142 particles tracked and 3142 particles escaped.

That means no particle got evaporated?? If not then how it showing 40% relative humidity. The continuous phase was dry air.

Is it possible to cool with only sensible heat transfer with such a huge temp difference?

Plz help
Thankyou.
