Simulate geometry in different parts

Hi!

I am trying to simulate a very complex geometry that I cut in to 3 parts. This enables me to simulate first one part of the geometry until I am satisfied with the results. Then I take e.g. the velocity profile from the first part-simulation at the boundary to the second part as a starting (boundary) condition for the simulation of the second part. And the same for the second to the third part.

Later, I will iteratively fit the simulation results of all three parts together (the boundaries are interleaved) – is there a simple way? And how can I take the result of a simulation (e.g. velocity profile) as a boundary condition for another simulation?

Is there a way in Fluent, to do this automatically?

Every help is appreciated!

Ralf
