Hi
I'm trying to create a UDF where I need to get the pressure average from a post processing surface. How can I get this data? how can I get the cell index of the cells that my postprocessing surface crosses? Many thanks Cedric |

yes,
I have a pressure outlet.I'm forcing this pressure outlet with a UDF (thanks to "DEFINE PROFILE"). The pressure at this outlet as to follow a certain equation: it has to be the same than the pressure on a certain point that is in the middle of my computation domain. I have defined this point in surface>point in Fluent. What i need to do is to get the pressure at the cell where this point is situated and to use it in my pressure outlet UDF. I know that the fonction C_P(c,t) can give you the pressure if you know the cell index "c" and the thread "t". So, what I think is that if I have the cell index, then, I should have solved my problem. Can you help me on this? many thanks cedric |
