UDF COMPILE
 
I had error about "nmake" but I installed VC++ then my problem solved Now when compile udf the following message "cannot find specified file" appear on the consul window.

please help me.

Hi

I didn't get you properly. "cannot find specified file" error occurs if you just type the name of compiler and no source file name, or if the dependencies are not fulfilled. Like, you may not have udf.h in the directory where you have your file.

There is no need to have header files in the same directory as the source.

Yes, there is no need to have it in the same directory, provided the path to header file is specified in path variables, else its must.

looks like u havent set the environment variables of ur C++ package and then start fluent from the compiler prompt and working directory.

Hi

Shiva is right. It is better to use Visuall c++ 6 installed in your computer. And when you want to install it you must check a box which set the enviroment variables.
